1813 Crossing of the Rhine, Kaub – Museum Blücher

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A room of the former inn Zur Stadt Mannheim, about as Feldmarschall Blücher would have known it during his short stay 31.XII.1813 – 02.I.1814.

First, a commemorative plaque had been affixed in 1889 at the entrance of the inn <► File:1813_Rheinübergang,_Kaub_–_Ehemaliges_Gasthof_'Zur_Stadt_Mannheim'.jpg.
Then, on the occasion of the first centenary of the Rheinübergang, the inn has been converted into a museum, inaugurated on January 17, 1913.
