Description
English: Looking south down Boston Road and East 179th Street at the stub of IRT elevated line that formerly led to 180th Street–Bronx Park (IRT White Plains Road Line) in the West Farms section of The Bronx, New York City. When Jim Henderson took his picture of the stub at this intersection in October 2008, he took it from the northwest corner of the intersection. This view is from just off the northeast corner, and the staircases to the West Farms Square – East Tremont Avenue (IRT White Plains Road Line) can be seen in the background.
