Description
Deutsch: 1807 erschienener Plan der Stadt Hannover und Umgebung (Ausschnitt), hier mit den Anlagen rund um das damalige Schloss Montbrillant im späteren Welfengarten in der Nordstadt als Teil der Herrenhäuser Gärten . Direkt an die von dem Gartenkünstler Ernst August Charbonnier angelegten barocken Grünanlage findet sich ein Eiskeller im Nordwesten sowie die Puttenser Windmühle vor dem Mühlenfeld - die ebenso wie Montbrillant 1857 für den Bau des Welfenschlosses weichen musste, der späteren Leibniz Universität. Ausschnitt aus dem von Inspektor Pentz und dem Ingenieur-Geograph Lieutenant Ludwig Bennefeld geschaffenen Plan von Hannover und seiner Umgebung, der - gestochen von Franz in Berlin - 1807 durch die Buchhandlung der Gebrüder Hahn verlegt wurde ...
