180309-N-JS726-0057 MEDITERRANEAN SEA (March 9, 2018) An MH-60S Sea Hawk, attached to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 28, approaches the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) during evening flight operations, March 9, 2018. Iwo Jima, homeported in Mayport, Florida, is participating in Juniper Cobra 2018 (JC18) and conducting naval operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations. JC18 is a computer-assisted exercise conducted through computer simulations focused on improving combined missile defense capabilities and overall interoperability between the U.S. European Command and Israel Defense Force.
