17th Century token.
Description
English: Mid - late 17th Century. Copper alloy, trader's halfpenny token. Extremely poor condition, illegible but obverse has a chequer board design probably indicating issued from the Chequers Inn. Reverse probably reads 'His half penny' within the inner circle.
