English: View of the triumphal Arch and Colonnade, erected in 1789 on the west side of the State House, on Washington Street in Boston, in honor of the president of the United States George Washington's triumphal visit. Engraving, 1789. Massachusetts Magazine, vol. II, 1789. Charles Bulfinch designed the arch, and Mr. Dawes designed the colonnade.
