Taken in October 2013. Looking 1.5 km across the Stour Valley towards Godmersham Park with the North Downs Way going along under the trees in the middle of the picture before turning uphill just left of the oast houses. The picture in the first comment box was taken from the small gap in the trees just right of the oast houses which is about the only opportunity to photograph from that direction. The whole area between the Stour Valley and the Elham Valley to the east is one of the finest on the North Downs and is very well known to me through walking but has not yet been much photographed, however, this day of very fine light and cloud allowed for some serious catching up. Rather breezy and there may be some softness of the image despite trying to get the tripod into a more sheltered position.
