| Description | We've received a lot of questions as to why the gate at Divide Peak on the Santa Barbara Ranger District remains closed even though things have dried out since the last rainfall. These two photos of Mono Campground were shared with us by Sam Einolander who hiked the area in early March. As you can see, Mono is completely covered in mud and silt, and only one picnic table is visible in the campground. We have some work to do before this area can be re-opened to the public. |
