Description
English: Bhagavad Gita is one of the scriptures of Hinduism, its best known. It has been widely translated in Indian languages as well as numerous non-Indian languages. Over 200 translations exist in the English language alone, with the first published in 1785 by Charles Wilkins. This is a photograph of a 2-D palm lead manuscript page produced in the 16th century and discovered in Kerala. Wikimedia commons PD-Art licensing guidelines apply.
