English: Eight lithic implements

1) Blade length 52mm, width 18mm, thickness 8mm. One arise running down the centre of the dorsal, soft hammered bulb of percussion on the ventral. This artefact has been damaged by post-depositional activity. Creamy patina with grey patches, this artefact dates to the Early Mesolithic.

2) Truncated blade length 34mm, width 20mm, thickness 5mm. Two arises on the dorsal, the bulb is missing from the ventral, this is the distal end of the blade. Light creamy-brown patina with large grey patches. This artefact dates to the Mesolithic.

3) Truncated blade length 31mm, width 15mm, thickness 3mm. One arise on the dorsal, bulb missing from the ventral, some post-depositional damage, only the distal end remains. Creamy patina this artefact dates to the Late Mesolithic.

4) Truncated blade length 16mm, width 11mm, thickness 3mm. Multiple flaking scars on the dorsal, bulb missing from the ventral, only the distal end remains. Dark grey flint with a patina forming, this artefact dates to the Late Mesolithic to Early Neolithic.

5) Double sided scraper length 43mm, width 26mm, thickness 7mm. Negative bulb on the dorsal, bulb on the ventral, both the left and right side have been retouched with direct, abrupt, scaled flaking scars that are convex and give the object an oval shape in plan. Dark grey flint, this artefact dates to the Neolithic.

6) Semicircular scraper length 33mm, width 45mm, thickness 11mm. Two large flaking scars on the dorsal, large bulb on the ventral, the forward and side edges have been knapped into a curved working edge that has direct, semi-abrupt, scaled flaking scars. Brown coloured flint with darker patches, this artefact dates to the Late Neolithic.

7) Side and end scraper length 23mm, width 25mm, thickness 10mm. Multiple flaking scars on the dorsal, bulb on the ventral, the right and forward edge has direct, semi-abrupt, scaled flaking scars that are slightly coarse. Grey flint with 5% cortex at the base, this artefact dates to the Early Bronze Age.

8) Side scraper length 26mm, width 27mm, thickness 7mm. Two flaking scars on the dorsal, bulb is missing from the ventral, the right edge has direct, semi-abrupt, scaled flaking scars that are slightly coarse. Light grey patina, this artefact dates ton the Early Bronze Age.
