Description
English: Ceramic spindle whorl diameter 31mm, height 17mm, weight 14.23g. The artefact is conical shaped with slightly convex sides, there are four concentric lines on the top surface and two on the underside. 10mm in diameter in the centre, light grey fabric. The ceramic used for the spindle whorl is similar to the fabric of grey were vessels from the Roman Period, therefore a roman date is ascribed.
