Description U.S. Navy Sonar Technician (Surface) 3rd Class Cedric Nixon, a Chicago native assigned to the pre-commisioning unit guided-missile destroyer USS John Finn (DDG 113) digs a hole for a fence post while volunteering at a Habitat for Humanity event, during San Diego Fleet Week 2016 in San Diego, Sept. 14, 2016. Fleet week offers the public an opportunity to meet Sailors, Marines, and members of the Coast Guard and gain a better understanding of how the sea services support the national defense of the United States and freedom of the seas.
