English: 51 Lithic implements

1) Notched piece length 34mm, width 14mm, thickness 11mm. Multiple flaking scares over the whole of the surface. One side is concave with abrupt direct scales retouch. Mid grey flint with light grey patches, 5% cortex at the rear. This artefact probably dates to the Bronze Age.

2) Awl length 25mm, width 19mm, thickness 3mm. One arises on the dorsal soft hammered bulb on the ventral. One edge has direct short retouch creating a convex edge, with one end that has indirect short retouch on both sides creating a point Creamy patina with light grey patches. This object dates to the Neolithic to Early Bronze Age.

3) Blade length 22mm, width 10mm, thickness 3mm. One arise on the dorsal, bulb on the ventral. Slight chipping to both blades, but this is natural damage. Light grey patina, where it is truncated this has exposed a grey flint where a patina has started to form. Date possibly Late Mesolithic.

4) Backed blade length 17mm, width 11mm, thickness 2mm. One arise on the dorsal, no bulb on the ventral. Short direct retouch on the left blade which has blunted this side. Grey patina with lighter patches, where it is truncated this has exposed a grey flint where a patina has started to form. Date Late Mesolithic.

5) Fake length 18mm, width 18mm, thickness 6mm. Two arises on the dorsal, bulb the ventral. Chipping to the front, this is natural damage. Dark grey flint with patina forming. This artefact probably dates to the Neolithic.

6) Miscellaneous retouched piece length 25mm, width 18mm, thickness 8mm. Multiple flaking scars over the whole surface, one edge has direct, short, serrated retouch. Date possibly Bronze Age.

7) Miscellaneous retouched piece length 30mm, width 18mm, thickness 6mm. Multiple flaking scars on the dorsal soft hammered bulb on the ventral. 40% cortex on the left side of the dorsal, long direct flaking scars on the right. Light grey patina with darker patches. Date Bronze Age.

8) 43 fragments of debitage. 11 Secondary flakes. average size length 31mm width 25mm, thickness 7mm. Most have a dark grey colour, one is mid brown, all have less then 50% cortex remaining. Date Prehistoric. These are waste flakes from the manufacturing process.

32 Tertiary flakes, average size length 24mm, width 17mm, thickness 9mm. Most have a light grey colour with a light patina. Date prehistoric. These are waste flakes from the manufacturing process.
