Kemit Spears, right, commanding officer, Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1, speaks to service members assigned to NMCB 133 during a turnover ceremony between NMCB 1 and NMCB 133 at Naval Station Rota, Spain, Feb. 16, 2016. The turnover marked the beginning of the NMCB 133 deployment to Rota’s Seabee camp, Camp Mitchell. U.S. 6th Fleet, headquartered in Naples, Italy, conducts the full spectrum of joint and naval operations, often in concert with allied, joint, and interagency partners, in order to advance U.S. national interests and security and stability in Europe and Africa.
