Description
English: 158 State Street between Green and Union Streets in New London, Connecticut, was built c.1771 and is the oldest building on the street. It was originally the print shop of Timothy Green, which published one of the earliest newspapers in Connecticut Colony. The building is currently the location of the State Street Saloon, and is part of Downtown New London Historic District. (Description source: Historic plaque on site)
