Description 151017-N-GY309-002 LISBON, Portugal (Oct. 17, 2015) The amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24) pulls into Lisbon, Portugal to participate in Trident Juncture 2015, Oct. 17. Trident Juncture is a NATO-led exercise that is designed to certify NATO response forces and develop interoperability among participating NATO and partner nations. Arlington, part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group, is conducting naval operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe.
