English: The house at 160 Hempstead Street, between Broad and Mercer Streets in New London, Connecticut, is labelled with a New London Landmarks plaque as the Knowles House 1832, however information from the NRHP says that it was built in 1843 in the Italianate style by Ephraim Knowles. It is part of the Williams Memorial Park Historic District.
