Description |
English: Cast copper alloy dress hook length 38mm, width 14mm, thickness 1mm, weight 2.25g. Openwork decoration consisting of a trefoil that sit on top of a V, that base of which expands into a semicircular terminal with four lobs that flank hook in the centre. The hole in the top loop of the trefoil acts as an attachment loop and there is a second attachment loop in the centre of the semicircular base.
This artefact dates to the 16th century. |
