English: Original Toronto Star caption: Being readied for shipment to Quebec iron country is this 15-ton roll of conveyor belting at Goodyear Tire's Bowmanville plant. Six of these will form two 2,200-foot belts, 4 1/2 feet wide, to carry iron ore from the primary crushing station to storage silos at Quebec Cartier Mining Co. development. From silos, ore is further crushed before treatment in world's biggest concentrator at site. |
