Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Looking northeast towards Saint George Terminal from near the end of the St. George-bound platform of the Huguenot Staten Island Railway station in the Huguenot section of Staten Island, New York City. The station was originally built in 1860, but was rebuilt as part of a Public Works Administration-sponsored grade elimination project between 1938 and 1939. The station house itself can not be seen in this shot. A pedestrian bridge used to exist towards the end of these platforms, but was torn down.
