14th century pendant
Description
English: A copper-alloy object which has been tentatively identified as a pendant of probable 14th century AD date. The main section of the body is sub-rectangular in shape and measures 5.7mm wide at the top, tapering slightly towards the bottom. It is 1.75mm thick and has flat upper and lower surfaces. Below this section is a backwards angled lower section which tapers to a point. At the top is a suspension loop. This is set at right angles to the main body of the object, measures 5.3mm deep, and has a central circular hole. Overall, the object measures 41mm long and weighs 2.8g.
