Description Oregon Army National Guard Soldiers of 1st Platoon, Alpha Company, 2-162 Infantry Battalion, 41st Infantry Brigade Combat Team, react to a simulated improvised explosive during convoy operations training at the Orchard Combat Training Center near Boise, Idaho, May 28, in preparation for deployment. Approximately 400 Soldiers with the battalion will spend nine months performing security and support for military installations in Afghanistan.
