Description Brad Call, a design chief with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District, rides a wave of air on a surfing hovercraft during Folsom High School's seventh annual Engineering Challenge April 11, 2014, in Folsom, Calif. Student projects included: hovercrafts, catapults, Tesla coils, electromagnetic propulsion devices, pneumatic wind turbines, voice synthesizers, hydrogen fuel cells, solar electric boats and cars, gene transformation, and orthopedic implants.
