English: Medieval copper alloy buckle, oval frame with (broken and distorted) offset narrowed bar, sub-rectangular outside edge with slight groove for missing pin, 23 x 45mm. Damaged rectangular plate, folded widthways, with pin-slot and recessed for frame, slightly narrowed and shorter on reverse, corner missing broken across one of five rivet-holes, two with copper alloy dome-headed rivets, 28 x 37mm. 13th century. |
