ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Oct. 31, 2013) U.S. Naval Academy Midshipmen 1st Class Sabrina Reyes, left, and Scott Bolstad remove the back of a boron epoxy composite patch that is attached to a piece of aluminum. Reyes and Bolstad, both engineering majors, are working on an independent studies project that involves testing the feasibility of the patch in aircraft repair and other applications.
