| Description | 13 October 2017 saw me cover two of the lines operated by local private operator, Gruppo Torinese Trasporti (GTT). Whilst most of the network is electrified, the outer sections of both branches are still worked by DMUs. Seen here at the terminus station of Pont Canavese (or simply Pont as per the station signage) is a pair of ALn668 DMUs - 906 with 907 behind. Train 702, 08:47Pont Canavese to Rivarolo Canavese. At Rivarolo Canavese the line reverses and a more frequent EMU service operates through to Torino and beyond through to Cheri. |
