Reverse side reads: "Dear Ella, (illegible) Having a fine time, Aunt Linda Fort Hayes was established by Congress in 1862 as the Columbus Arsenal. It was later named Fort Hayes in honor of President Rutherford B. Hayes in 1922. It is currently the site of the Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center. |
