הערות: חג החנוכה בשכונת נחלאות בירושלים הוא אירוע מיוחד שמאחד את הקהל המקומי והמבקרים. הסמטאות הצרות הופכות למקום ייחודי בימי החנוכה, כשהתושבים מדליקים את נרות החנוכה, רובם בשמני זית, בחנוכיות מיוחדות הסגורות בקופסאות זכוכית בבתי המגורים, בחצרות ובפתחי הבתים על המדרכה. מראה מיוחד המושך מטיילים וסקרנים המשתתפים בריקודים ובשירי חנוכה. השכונה הממוקמת במרכז ירושלים, נבנתה בסוף המאה ה-19, בנחלות שנרכשו על ידי תושבים יהודים בימי העלייה הראשונה והשתלבו בתהליך העירוני של ירושלים וישבו בה יהודים ממגוון עדתי.
