Description Royal Canadian Navy divers assigned to Fleet Diving Unit Atlantic practice disabling a mine May 1, 2012, in Sydney, Nova Scotia, during Frontier Sentinel 2012. Frontier Sentinel is a combined interagency exercise involving Joint Task Force Atlantic, the U.S. Coast Guard and Navy Fleet Forces Command. The exercise is designed to develop and validate existing plans, treaties and standard operation procedures for a bilateral response to maritime homeland defense and security threats.
