הערות: מֵירוֹן הוא מושב דתי לאומי בגליל העליון למרגלות הר מירון השייך למועצה אזורית מרום הגליל ולארגון המושבים של הפועל המזרחי. היישוב הוקם בשנת 1949 על ידי עולים מהונגריה ומרומניה וחיילים דתיים יוצאי חטיבה 7 שהשתחררו לאחר מלחמת העצמאות. הוא הוקם על אדמות הכפר הערבי מירון, שחרב במלחמת העצמאות. היישוב נקרא בשמה של מירון הקדומה ששכנה בסמוך, ושמה נשתמר בשם הכפר הערבי שהיה במקום. המקום מוכר בזכות קבר רבי שמעון בר יוחאי, הנמצא בדרום היישוב, שאליו מגיעים מאות אלפי אנשים בל"ג בעומר מדי שנה.
