The 116th Medical Group, Detachment 1, is a part of the Region 4 Homeland Response Force whose mission is to provide a ready, responsive and reliable team of military service members who provide a response capability to assist civil authorities in saving lives and mitigating suffering in response to a chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear incident.
