Name: Achi Decker Submarine Memorial, Mount Herzl, Jerus
Description: This is the main memorial site in memory of the 69 martyrs of the submarine Ahi Dekar. In 24th of Tevet 5578 the last sign of life was taken from the submarine and all its crew members were lost in the submarines. It was not until 23rd of Sivan 5579 that the body of the submarine was found lying on the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea, between Crete to Cyprus, on its planned sailing route to the shores of Israel.

שם: אנדרטת הצוללת אח"י דקר, הר הרצל ירושלים
תיאור: זהו אתר הזיכרון המרכזי לזכר 69 חללי הצוללת אח"י דקר. בכ"ד בטבת תשכ"ח נקלט סימן החיים האחרון מהצוללת וכל אנשי צוותה אבדו במצולות. רק בי"ג בסיוון תשנ"ט נמצא גוף הצוללת מונח על קרקעית הים התיכון, בין כרתים לקפריסין, בנתיב הפלגתה המתוכנן לחופי ישראל.
הערות: האנדרטה בנויה בטון מזוין ומעוצבת כצוללת שחלקה טמון בתוך ההר כאשר סיפונה העליון בולט כלפי מעלה. בכניסה חקוקה הכתובת: "לזכר אח"י דקר צ-77 ולצדה פסוק מתהילים: ”בים דרכך ושבילך במים רבים, את האנדרטה עיצב ותכנן האדריכל דוד אנטול ברוצקוס.
