Name: Ramat Hashofet The shoe store
Description: The building was built in 1944, and was one of 7 defensive positions that surrounded Kibbutz Ramat Hasofet. The building was used as an observation post to locate enemy planes as well as a defensive position through the shooting holes in the roof rail. After the 1948 war, it was used as a shoe store.

תיאור: המבנה הוקם ב 1944 ,והיה אחד מ 7 עמדות הגנה אשר הקיפו את קיבוץ רמת השופט.המבנה שימש כעמדת תצפית לאיתור מטוסי אויב וכן כעמדת הגנה באמצעות חרכי הירי אשר במעקה הגג.לאחר מלחמת 1948 שימש כסנדלריה.
הערות: רָמַת הַשּׁוֹפֵט הוא קיבוץ ברמות מנשה, מתנועת הקיבוץ הארצי השומר הצעיר, שנוסד ב-2 בנובמבר 1941 ונקרא על שם השופט יוליאן מק. מק היה שופט יהודי-אמריקני שכיהן כנשיא הסתדרות ציוני אמריקה (ZOA) לאחר מלחמת העולם הראשונה.קיבוץ רמת השופט הוקם על ידי גרעין "לשחרור" של חברי השומר הצעיר מליטא, פולין, בולגריה והונגריה שמשנת 1934 התגבשו ב"גבעת הסיכויים"[3] על אדמת הקרן הקיימת ליד תחנת הרכבת ברחובות[4]. בנובמבר 1941 עלתה קבוצה ראשונה לאדמות שנרכשו מהכפר ריחניה ברמת מנשה.(ויקיפדיה)
