English: Cast copper alloy belt mount length 42mm, width 22mm, thickness 7mm, weight 7.09g. Circular body with a concave underside, knop at opposing ends both have a double collar, one has an off centre rivet hole 1mm in diameter. The other has the remains of a hook. This would have been a sword belt hanger that dates to the 16th century. |
