Title |
1153 Medieval buckle.jpg |
||
Description |
English: Cast copper alloy buckle length 12mm, width 27mm, thickness 4mm, weight 2.97g. This is probably the forward fragment of a D-shaped buckle, the arms are narrowed the forward edge is expanded with a recessed pin rest in the centre and four parallel lines on either side. The rear edge is missing, this is an old break.
This probably dates to 1200-1540. |
