Name: Baron Rothschilds farm in Mazkeret Batya
Description: The building was built in 1892 by Baron Rothschilds officials, and is considered to be the most impressive farm building that has survived among the farm buildings that were built in the various colonies in Israel that were supported by the baron.

תיאור: המבנה הוקם בשנת 1892 ע"י פקידי הברון רוטשילד, ונחשב למבנה המשק המרשים ביותר ששרד מבין מבני המשק שהוקמו במושבות השונות בארץ שנתמכו ע"י הברון.המבנה, הבנוי כורכר וקורות עץ, שימש את צורכי המשק של המושבה: אחסון ציוד חקלאי, בהמות ותוצרת חקלאית.
הערות: כמו גם שיכון למדריכים החקלאיים.המבנה כולל אולם מרכזי ששימש כאורווה ומעליו אסם גדול, ובשני צידי האולם מגדלים דו-קומתיים למגורי הפועלים. בתקופת המנדט פעלה בקומה העליונה במבנה תחנה של משטרת היישובים העבריים.מַזְכֶּרֶת בַּתְיָה היא מועצה מקומית. נוסדה כמושבה בשנת 1883, ביוזמתו של הרב שמואל מוהליבר. הייתה המושבה הראשונה בארץ ישראל שהוקמה על ידי הברון אדמונד ג'יימס דה רוטשילד. הוכרזה כמועצה מקומית בשנת 1952.שמה המקורי היה "עקרון" לבקשת הברון באפריל 1887, הוחלף שמה של המושבה ל"מזכרת בתיה ע"ש אם הברון.
