Description: Yad Zichron for the defenders of the transportation artery to the south and to Jerusalem in the Beit KKL compound (Karein Kemeyte) at the Beit Dagan intersection.

שם: מתחם בית קק"ל בצומת בית דגן
תיאור: יד זכרון למגיני עורק התחבורה לדרום ולירושלים בבמתחם בית קק"ל (קרן קיימת) בצומת בית דגן.
הערות: בית הקק"ל הוא כינויו של משלט ה"הגנה", שעמד על כביש ת"א-רמלה-ירושלים, ליד צומת בית דגן. הבניין בן שלוש הקומות, שנבנה ב1922 שימש מפעל ערבי לייצור סיגריות, ונמכר יהושע שוגרמן. בעת מאורעות 1939-1936 הוא נקנה בידי חברת הימנותא בעזרת קרן הקיימת ונמסר לעיבוד לקיבוץ מעלה החמישה. הבית שימש גם עמדת מגן לדרך הביטחון וגם בסיס, ממנו בוצעו פעולות תגמול נגד התחבורה הערבית. הערבים עשו כל מאמץ להחריבו, מספר פעמים. ב-19 במארס 1948 מכונית תופת החריבה את הבניין.
