Name: Nabi Daniel's Caravan of Brothers - Mount
Description: The Nabi Daniel convoy (after the Arab village of Nabi Daniel, which was near the place where the battle took place) was a large convoy that left Jerusalem on the 16th of Adar 2, March 27, 1948, to help the besieged Gush Etzion in order to deliver supplies. On its return to Jerusalem, the convoy encountered an ambush and in the battle 15 fighters were killed and about 40 wounded.

שם: קבר אחים שיירת נבי דניאל – הר הרצל-ירושלים
תיאור: שיירת נבי דניאל (ע"ש הכפר הערבי נאבי דניאל, שהיה סמוך למקום שבו התחולל הקרב) הייתה שיירה גדולה שיצאה בט"ז באדר ב', 27 במרץ 1948, מירושלים לעזרת גוש עציון הנצור במטרה להעביר אספקה. בחזרתה לירושלים נתקלה השיירה במארב ובקרב נהרגו 15 לוחמים וכ-40 נפצעו.
הערות: בתיווך בריטי, חולצו רוב נוסעי השיירה. חלק גדול מן הנשק והרכב של אנשי השיירה נפל בידי הערבים. הלוחמים הפצועים והגופות הועברו לירושלים. גופות ההרוגים נקברו בקבר אחים בבית הקברות הצבאי בהר הרצל. כמה עשרות מאנשי השיירה חזרו לגוש הנצור. לאחר הקרב נותקה לחלוטין הדרך היבשתית לגוש עציון משאר חלקי הארץ.
