Description: The smallest in the 4 quarters of the city - has a population of about 3400, surrounded by a wall with churches, religious institutions and residences and a sequence of alleys and staircases connecting them.

שם: ירושלים הרובע הארמני בעיר העתיקה
תיאור: הקטן ב-4 רבעי העיר והמבודד שבינהם - מונה כ-3400 נפש,מוקף חומה ובו כנסיות מוסדות דת ובתי מגורים ורצף של סימטאות וגרמי מדרגות המחברים בינהם.
הערות: בעיר יש רצף ארמני מאז המאה הרביעית אך ברובם היו אנשי דת וכמורה. גל האיכלוס הגדול היה לאחר הטבח התורכי בארמנים במלה"ע ה-1 כשפליטי חרב רבים התיישבו בעיר ובהם אומני קרמיקה מעוטרת שפתחו בתי מלאכה ומרכזי אומנות קרמית ויצירותיהם מעטרות את חוצות העיר.
