תיאור: מבנה רחב מימדים עטור כיפה גדולה בחצר הקראים בעיר העתיקה.ביה"כ העתיק שוכן בקומת הקרקע-מרתף של המבנה הנמצא ברובע היהודי
הערות: הקראים זרם יחודי ב שהתפצל מהיהדות במאה ה-8 בבל על רקע המאבק על הנהגת הקהילה וקיבל עליו את עול התורה תוך התעלמות מהגמרא והספרות המאוחרת יותר והשותי"ם- לכן ניקרא בני-מקרא-קראים. בעבר היו קהילות קראיות גדולות במצרים,בבל וקטנות במזרח אירופה. קודם הם הורחקו מכלל ישראל אך כיום הם הם ההתקבלו כקהילה יהודית מוכרת כשרה ולגיטימית
