Description
Deutsch: „Porträt einer Frau mit Korb“, große Bleistiftzeichnung, signiert und datiert 1926. Graphisches Werkverzeichnis Nr. 103. Berliner Hochblütezeit. Beispielhaft Neue Sachlichkeit in der intendierten Darstellung von Ernsthaftigkeit, Argwohn und Zweifel. Der Typus und Gestus dieser einfachen Frau verkörpert die weniger schöne und nicht glamouröse Lebenssituation der Goldenen Zwanziger Jahre. Diese meisterliche Zeichnung der Neuen Sachlichkeit stellt eines der Hauptwerke im graphischen Nachlass von Josef Steiner dar und hat außerdem Titelseiten-Charakter.
