Name: The train gate on Herzl St. - Tel Aviv-Yafo
Description: From the beginning of the mansion that became Tel Aviv until 1948, a train crossed Herzl Street. In the early days of the neighborhood, the train checkpoint was used as an entrance to it from the main road - the Nablus road that connected the young neighborhood with Jaffa.

שם: שער הרכבת ברח' הרצל- תל אביב-יפו
תיאור: מראשית ימיה של אחוזת בית שהפכה לתל-אביב ועד שנת 1948 חצתה רכבת את רחוב הרצל. מחסום הרכבת שימש בימיה הראשונים של השכונה כשער כניסה אליה מהדרך הראשית - דרך שכם שחיברה את השכונה הצעירה עם יפו.
הערות: ב-1950 פורקו פסי הרכבת בקטע שבין התחנה ביפו לבין תחנת הרכבת ובית המכס. אולם הקטע שחצה את רחוב הרצל נשאר במקומו עוד עשרות שנים אחר כך (תל.אביב.פדיה.)
