Description

110th Military Intelligence Battalion Coat of Arms

Description/Blazon Shield Azure (Oriental Blue), a chevronnel debased Or, below two griffins' heads in fess point erased addorsed and conjoined of the like. Crest None. Motto SENTINELS OF THE SUMMIT.

Symbolism Shield Oriental blue is the primary color associated with Military Intelligence. Gold is emblematic of excellence and achievement. The chevron, a symbol of strength and support, suggests a mountain peak and connotes the unit's affiliation with the 10th Mountain Division. The griffins, ever vigilant and alert, appear above the mountain peak, epitomizing the unit's motto and mission. Crest None.

Background The coat of arms was approved on 12 September 1988.
