English: Name: Gan Habanim - Yarkon Park in Tel Aviv Description: On Independence Day 2002, the children's garden designed by landscape architect Gideon Sharig was inaugurated. The garden was established in Yarkon Park as a central memorial site for the Tel Avivians who fell in the Israeli occupation. עברית: שם: גן הבנים - פארק הירקון בתל אביב תיאור: ביום העצמאות 2002 נחנך גן הבנים שתוכנן ע"י אדריכל הנוף גדעון שריג. הגן הוקם בפארק הירקון כאתר הנצחה מרכזי לבני תל אביב שנפלו במערכות ישראל. שמות חללי תל אביב חרותים על אנדרטאות בצורת מנסרות גרניט שראשיהן קטומים. הערות: כל מקבץ מנסרות מייצג את אחת ממלחמות ישראל וחקוקים עליו שמות בני תל אביב שנהרגו בה. המלחמות מיוצגות גם ע"י חורשות עצים, מעצי ארץ ישראל, כאשר כל מלחמה מיוצגת ע"י חורשה משלה, שביל בזלת החוצה את הגן ואבני הכורכר המקיפות אמת מים, מייצגים את סלעי הארץ. עצרת יום הזיכרון לחללי מערכות ישראל בני העיר תל-אביב-יפו נערכת בגן הבנים מדי שנה במעמד ראש העירייה. מיקום: תל אביב קובץ מקורי: תמונה 1.jpg |
