English: Name: Tel Aviv - Art Publishing House Description: Art Publishing was a Hebrew book publishing company that was founded in 1917 and existed until the 1940s. The publisher became known for translating famous children's and youth books into Hebrew. עברית: שם: תל אביב - בית הוצאת אמנות תיאור: הוצאת אמנות הייתה הוצאת ספרים עברית שנוסדה ב-1917 והתקיימה עד שנות הארבעים. ההוצאה נודעה בתרגום ספרי ילדים ונוער מפורסמים לעברית. הערות: ההוצאה נודעה בעיקר ב"סדרת עלומים" בה תורגמה מיטב הספרות העולמית לילדים ולנוער לעברית על ידי מתרגמים כיצחק למדן וישראל דושמן. הסדרה נערכה ברוב שנותיה על ידי אריה ליב סמיאטיצקי ובין הספרים שתורגמו במסגרתה היו "עלובי החיים", "הרפתקאות אליס בארץ הפלאות", "הרפתקאותיו של האקלברי פין", "פינוקיו", וספריהם של ויקטור הוגו, הנריק סנקביץ', ז'ול ורן וצ'ארלס דיקנס.
