Name: Degania Dam on the Jordan
Description: The dam was built in 1931-2 as part of the Naharim power plant complex and was used to regulate the amount of water from the Kinneret to the Naharim lake - even today it is used to regulate the level of the Kinneret and the flow of water to southern Jordan

שם: סכר דגניה על הירדן
תיאור: הסכר נבנה בשנים 1931-2 כחלק מהקומפלקס של תחנת הכח בנהרים ושימש לויסות כמויות המים מהכנרת לאגם תחנת נהרים-גם כיום משמש לויסות גובה פני הכנרת והזרמת המים לירדן הדרומי
הערות: מפעל החשמל בנהרים, פרי חזונו ומימושו ע"י פנחס רוטנברג-הזקן מנהרים , הוקם בגדה המזרחית של הירדן בשטח עבר הירדן ונועד לספק חשמל לשתי הישויות שלגדותיו. נחנך ב1933 וחדל לפעול ב1948, אחרי שנכבש ע"י הצבא העיראקי וחובל. באיזור הוקמה מערכת סכרי ויסות, אגם אגירה, תעלות ומערכת טורבינות ליצור חשמל ששרדו בשטח כעדות אילמת למפעל האדיר ולאיש החזון והמעשה-פנחס רוטנברג.
