Name: Kfar Mallel the dairy
Description: In 1922, they began the development of the dairy industry and established the first barns in Moshav (this was even before residents had shacks to live in). The initial branch of milk was based on local cows, - Arabs and Damascenes which were not the ideal milking cows. Then yielding cows were brought from Romania and Lebanon.

שם: כפר מלל המחלבה
תיאור: בשנת 1922, החלו בפיתוח של ענף החלב והקימו את הרפתות הראשונות במושב (זאת עוד לפני היו לתושבים צריפים למגורים). הענף הראשוני לחלב התבסס על פרות מקומיות, – ערביות ודמשקאיות אשר לא היו הפרה החולבת האידיאלית.אז הובאו פרות מניבות מרומניה ולבנון.
הערות: המושב הינו מבין המושבים הראשונים שהוקמו בארץ ישראל, עוד טרם תקופת המנדט הבריטי בפלשתינה א”י. עיקר הפעילות של המושב היתה בגידולים ללא השקייה, כמו שקדים וכרמים.עם סיומה של מלחמת העולם ה-1 הצטרפו חיילי הבריגדה היהודית והמושב הפך למושב העובדים הראשון בארץ.כפר מל"ל נוסד ב-1912 כמושב פועלים על קרקע שנרכשה על ידי חובבי ציון באודסה וחברת הכשרת היישוב ובנק אפ"ק (לימים בל"ל). היישוב הוקם על חורבות יישוב ערבי בשם ח'רבת אל-חיה (חורבת הנחש) ושם היישוב הציוני הוסב לשם עין חי.ב1914 הוחלט לשנות שמו לכפר מל"ל.
