הערות: חיים נַחמן ביאליק (1873–1934) היה "המשורר הלאומי", מגדולי המשוררים העבריים בעת החדשה. שיריו וסיפוריו של ביאליק תורגמו לשפות רבות. ב-1924 עלו ביאליק ורעייתו לארץ ישראל, וכעבור שנה וחצי עברו להתגורר בבית בתל אביב, ברחוב ביאליק 22, שהוא בתכנון האדריכל יוסף מינור. ביאליק תרם להפיכת ת"א למרכז התרבותי והספרותי של היישוב. בתחילת 1927 הנהיג את מסורת "עונג שבת" – מפגשי תרבות שנערכו מדי שבת אחר הצהריים. נפטר ב-4 ביולי 1934 ,לאחר סיבוך בניתוח. מותו גרם לאבל כבד ביישוב. נטמן בבית הקברות טרומפלדור, בתל אביב
