Name: Ahel Moed Synagogue at Shedal 5 Tel Aviv
Description: The great Sephardic synagogue Ohel Moed is one of the first synagogues established in the city of Tel Aviv and is still used today as a place for Torah and prayer on weekdays and on Saturdays and holidays. Designed by the architect Joseph Berlin and inaugurated in 1931.

שם: בית הכנסת אהל מועד שד"ל 5 תל אביב
תיאור: בית הכנסת הגדול הספרדי אוהל מועד הוא אחד מבתי הכנסת הראשונים שהוקמו בעיר תל אביב ומשמש עד היום כמקום לתורה ותפילה בימי החול ובשבתות וחגים. תוכנן על ידי האדריכל יוסף ברלין ונחנך ב 1931.
הערות: בשנת 1923 הונחה אבן הפינה לבית כנסת הגדול "אוהל מועד" ובנייתו הסתיימה ב-1931. הסגנון האדריכלי הוא אר דקו, שמשלב במבנה צורות גאומטריות והנדסיות. בימי המנדט הבריטי שימש בית הכנסת כסליק וגם כמקום אימונים של האצ"ל והלח"י. בבית הכנסת אהל מועד נהגו להתפלל הרבנים הראשיים הספרדים לתל אביב כמו הרב עובדיה יוסף שהתפלל בה בעת ששימש כרב ראשי לתל אביב יפו
