Description
English:
Name: The tomb and Hankin's house
Description: The construction of the house was finished when Yehoshua Hankin turned 70. At the same time, his wife fell ill, and in her honor they began to carve a tomb out of the stone of the mountain. His wife Olga died in February 1942, and her husband decided to turn the house into a museum for the history of land and settlement in the Jezreel Valley. In 1945 Yehoshua died and was buried next to his wife.

תיאור: בניית הבית הסתיימה כשמלאו ליהושע חנקין 70. בו זמנית חלתה אשתו, ולכבודה החלו לחצוב אחוזת קבר באבן ההר. אולגה אשתו נפטרה בפברואר 1942, ובעלה החליט להפוך את הבית למוזיאון לתולדות הקרקע וההתיישבות בעמק יזרעאל. ב-1945 נפטר יהושע ונקבר לצד אשתו.
הערות: יהושע חנקין הגה את הרעיון לבנות בית באזור בראשית שנות ה-20, כאשר רכש את גוש הקרקעות נוריס בעמק חרוד. הבית מעוצב ברוח שנות ה-30 ממוקם בגן הלאומי מעיין חרוד. במהלך הביקור בבית ניתן לראות את הסלון, המטבח, וחפצים של בני הזוג ועוד.
